The Blue Thunder Alumni Association (BTAA) is a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the legacy and future of Boise State University’s Blue Thunder Marching Band. As alumni of one of the most dynamic collegiate marching bands in the country, we strive to foster a lifelong connection between past and present members while advancing the spirit of music and community that defines Blue Thunder.
Our Mission
Our mission is to unite Blue Thunder alumni in supporting current and future members of the Boise State Marching Band, enriching their musical and educational experiences, and strengthening the band’s role in creating pride and tradition at Boise State University and beyond.
Our Goals
Support Current Students: Provide scholarships, mentorship, and resources to ensure the success of current Blue Thunder members.
Foster Alumni Engagement: Create opportunities for alumni to reconnect, network, and give back through events, performances, and volunteer opportunities.
Promote Excellence: Advocate for the growth and excellence of the Blue Thunder Marching Band by raising funds for instruments, equipment, and program enhancements.
Strengthen Community: Celebrate the shared love of music and Boise State pride through partnerships, outreach, and performances that bring alumni and the community together.
